Build Lump Sum Estimate

If the request for estimate is marked as a lump sum estimate, the selected contractor will use the Build Lump Sum Estimate screen to build a lump sum estimate.

Open the Build Lump Sum Estimate screen

  1. Hover a mouse pointer over the Estimating menu link to display its drop-down menu.

  2. Click Build LS Estimate to open the Build Lump Sum Estimate screen.

  1. From the Build Lump Sum Estimate screen, select an organization from the Organization drop-down list.

  2. Select an agreement from the Agreement drop-down list.

  3. Select a request ID from the Request ID drop-down list. The information from the request ID appears in the table. The requestor’s name and information are displayed in the Requestor table.

  4. The Estimate Unit tab is displayed by default. Enter an item description into the Item Description text box.

  5. Enter a charge amount per item into the Charge text box.

  6. Enter a number into the Quantity text box.

  7. Enter comments into the Comments text box.

  8. Click Next Item to save and display the new item information in the Bill of Materials grid. The text boxes refresh.

  9. Repeat the steps to enter another item.

  10. Click the Add Misc. tab to open the Add Misc. area.

  11. Enter the miscellaneous description into the Misc. Description text box.

  12. Enter the amount into the Misc. Amount text box.

  13. The star item is a miscellaneous item that needs to be included in the agreement. If a new miscellaneous item is a star item, the agreement may need to be modified. Click the Star Item checkbox or proceed to the next step.

  14. Click Add Misc to add the new miscellaneous item.

 

Delete an estimate item

  1. From the Bill of Materials grid, click the Delete icon on the line item. The selected item is deleted.
